4 stars!

Even though this is actually the first book in the Carolina Comets series, PUCK SHY is the last book I've read in the series. I didn't know how similar Collin and Harper's courtship was to Fitz and Rosie's in NEUTRAL ZONE--which was my least favorite of the series--so I'm glad that I didn't end read this book first because it might have discouraged me from continuing on. Other than their anonymous online interactions, I loved Collin and Harper's meet-cute, and once Collin gets his head out of his ass, I really adored them together. It was so amazing seeing all of my favorite Comets players single before they meet their matches, and now I just want to read the entire series all over again, especially my two favorites Rhodes and Greer

It was cute. Easy read. Not a lot of tension. And what tension there was was resolved quickly.

A great start to a new series. I liked that Harper was cute & quirky and I loved the banter between them. My daughter is named Harper so it’s always a little tough for me to read book with the heroine named Harper, but overall it was a cute, enjoyable read.

Easy & fast paced read. Somewhat predictable but not to the point of being boring. Clearly I’m in my “hockey romance trope era” & im not mad about it.

These quirky characters were pretty easy to love in my opinion! I definitely feel like Harper and I could be friends! I immediately connected with her and her need for a soft blanket and gas station snacks for their long trek home. I loved her creativity and her unique business. If her shop was real, I’d definitely purchase something from her!

Collin and his bad luck streak made it hard not to sympathize for him. Add in how down to earth he was by bringing his doorman his favorite treats and spending time with fans, not rushing through their interactions, and you couldn't help but like him! The icing on the cake was the donuts! He can bring me donuts in bed anytime!

I love the funny situations Teagan includes in her books and this one was no different. First and foremost, the characters meet when Harper almost accidentally runs over Collin! Talk about a meet cute… ehh I mean meet awkward?
