I think my new goal in life is to read every hockey romance I can get my hands on.
I loved this so much. It was a very easy read and kept my attention. I enjoyed that the “drama” isn’t super heavy or anything. They resolved everything quickly which was cool.

Collin is struggling coming off of a game 6 loss in the Stanley Cup Finals to lose it all, and going away from home for the summer. Adding insult to injury is car breaks down on the way back to the city. When he is almost run over by Harper as he is walking down the freeway, the unlikely duo make the trek back to the city together. The two part ways with no ways of reconnecting. But when Collin downloads a dating app under a illusive username, and no pictures of his face. Will the two reconnect, or will she be burned by his hidden identity.
Teagan Hunter books have become my go to books to read after some time down a suspense rabbit hole. Her books are so light, and funny, and spicy, and I mean come on, hockey players are just the icing on the cake. While she skates over some heavy issues, she never really dives into them, but they are important points in the book.
Harper & Ryan (mostly Ryan) completely stole the show for me. Ryan had me completely cracking up, she is quirky and fun, and I am so excited for her book. But Harper is so fun, and so entertaining, while I while I wish she made Collin sweat a little bit more, but still found them so cute and adorable. Collin was a little bit of a push over to me. Felt like he did not have much of a personality beyond Harper, but who doesn't love a guy who would do absolutely anything for them.
Looking forward to seeing the team and series develops and moves forward.

It was just a mid tier book, would read again, but not the first one I’d reach for.

This was such a cute read to start off a series. Collin was a great MMC with just enough sass and swoon worthiness to make him be the perfect down to earth hottie. His banter with Harper is funny from the very start and you can honestly feel like you are sitting right there with them reading their text threads. I understood where Harper was coming from with being afraid to fall in love, but I got really annoyed when she used it as an excuse. I know, that doesn’t sound right but yeah. Also, I liked that Harper was the one that realized she had to make the step to win Collin back. Most of the time it’s the guy, no matter if they’re right or wrong, having to make the big grand gesture, but I loved that Harper was mature and realized she loved Collin.
