cute, fluffy romance! with a little spice! was the plot as fully developed as i had hoped? no. but it was the perfect story to get me through writing my undergrad honors thesis, and that's all i could ask for.

The main reason I read this was because I wanted to use it as a little bit of research and to make researching hockey more enjoyable. It did make it enjoyable but I can’t say I learned a lot about hockey in the process. However, I did absolutely love the vibes that this book gave. It was brilliant and Harper is a slightly scary legend and I love that Colin was so onboard with all her interests and didn’t care that she wasn’t a huge hockey fan. He loved her for her and that is my favourite thing to read about in books!

This book is super sweet and has you rooting for the main characters and their story. If you're looking for an easy and adorable hockey book, it's definitely this.
