I read this as the February book club read with my book club @indielovers_bookclub This was my first book from the author and won’t be my last.
I really enjoyed this book. It’s the first book in the Carolina Comets series the main characters are Collin and Harper. Collin is a NHL player for the Carolina Comets. They first meet by accident when Collins is having car trouble in the middle of nowhere. She knows nothing about sports and doesn’t know who he is. The second time they meet is through a dating app which again he keeps his identity a secret but like always secrets have a way of coming out.
I was hooked from the start. I also loved the unique occupation that Harper has. I have never read a book with that.
I highly recommend this to anyone who love hockey romance.

Mrs. Hunter knows how to mix humour and banter with interesting characters to grab your attention from the very first page.
From their first awkward encounter, Collin and Harper completely sucked me in.
Harper was interesting, quirky, and really sweet.
Collin was a bit of an idiot to start with but he soon found his feet.
This book was a low angst, mild drama, fun, and easy read - with plenty of chuckles along the way.

This is a a very sweet hockey sports romance between Harper & Collin and book #1 in the Carolina Comets series. Harper's character was so funny and sweet. She's into horror movies and has her own independent business. Collin is a famous hockey player but Harper doesn't know that at the beginning of the story. The side characters were also fun to read about. Cannot wait for to read the book about Ryan and Rhodes <3!
The start of this book was chef's kiss. Absolutely loved the banter between her and Collin throughout the whole book. Annotated so many paragraphs and it made me laugh out loud. Puck Shy was overall a very enjoyable read for me.

Harper's love for murder mysteries may have caused something to attract a ghostly figure in her pathway. After narrowly avoiding collision she helps out the handsome man - who fortunately has no intention harming her.
Sparks fly, witty banter flows and Collin easily starts to fall in love with Harper.
But what happens when being a stranger is in the past and reality creeps in?

I needed a good, funny, not angsty book to tie me over a tiny reading slump, and Puck Shy was perfect for this.
I was grinning at certain parts while reading.
I adored the banter between the main characters, Teagan's humor truly shines through the pages. It wasn't my first rodeo with regards to her stories and it most definitely won't be my last.
If you want to read a cute romcom, infused with gorgeous hockey players, sizzling chemistry and happy endings I highly recommend this book and the whole Carolina Comets series!
