A cute and quick hockey romance. I enjoyed the main characters and their overall chemistry. The side characters were interesting as well. This wasn’t a book full of angst, but somehow it just kind of flowed. This was a comforting read that got me out of a reading slump. I look forward to the other books in this series.

witty and entertaining, another complete winner for this author

I’ve been struggling with a reading slump lately, but I can always count on a Teagan Hunter story to pull me away and let me get lost for a few hours. This is the first book in a new series, and it’s a complete winner! Col and Harper are a hilarious, witty, entertaining couple, with interesting back stories that held my complete attention, easily. And the Texting series cameos! Makes me want to go do a reread!

I love Harper & Collin, they were the cutest.

The whole Sign-Girl, Hitchhiker Guy, Dunk Me.

It was so wholesome and sweet, and I loved every second of it.

Sports romance feel like home and this certainly filled that feeling and I loved it very much so.

I love when the couple have their 'thing' they have in common and share that's unique and cute to them and these two had that, I would have to seen them watch a scary movie together. I think that would have been sweet.

cute hockey romance, not my favorite by any means and not a ton of plot but it was a quick read

Meh.

I had high hopes for this one after finishing my first Teaghan Hunter book (Body Check), but it was just **fine**.

Collin & Harper didn't seem dimensional enough for me, and their story & connection felt forced.

It wasn't bad, I still blew right through it, but it was disappointing.

That said, I spent 75% of the book more interested in & looking forward to the next book (Ryan & Rhodes).

Collin Wright has lots of bad luck lately, but he’d never have guessed that almost getting run over would be one of the best things to ever happen to him. Harper almost kind of kills him, accidentally of course, but then she saves him so it’s all good. Except that they don’t exchange contact information and they both regret it immediately. Luckily fate has other ideas and brings them back together, but Collin screws that up, continuing his streak of catastrophic failures.

Good thing for her Harper gives him another chance because Collin is just, wow in every way. Sure he’s an NHL superstar but it doesn’t define him. He’s also the guy who wants a dog but can’t have one with his crazy schedule so he volunteers at the local animal shelter. He’s the guy who’s low key shocked to realize he loves this woman but he embraces it with minimal hesitation and bares his soul only to have his heart broken.

Collin is the perfect blend of sweet and dirty to be super hot. Harper is weird and completely loveable. I loved these characters and the supporting cast, especially Ryan and I can’t wait for her book. This is a quick read but it’s hilarious, sweet and fun so I’m looking forward to more in this series.

This was a good sports romance, with a lot less sports than you would think. It was a quick and easy read, with low angst.

Harper bugged me a bit with the "not like other girls" part of her personality, and they even used that phrase a couple times in the book. I did like we got to see the start of their friendship and then it to develop to something more. I also liked meeting the other hockey players that we will hopefully see in other books.
