I LOVED IT. Hello my new favorite series! The banter, the steam, I love these characters so much and how everything comes together. I am now on a hockey romance streak thanks to this book and my favorite writer!

This was such an amazing read! Hunter balanced out hockey and romance perfectly well in this novel. I enjoyed the setting and the conflicts that were in the book. The pacing was perfect and I finished this book pretty quickly. I really enjoyed the characters in this book and the dual perspectives. Both characters had wonderful character development and I enjoyed the chemistry between them. The side characters were all well written and I enjoyed how involved they were in the book. There were some very spicy scenes that I enjoyed in this book and the romance was perfect. The ending was okay and could have been longer in my opinion but I still enjoyed it. I really loved this book as I’m a huge hockey sucker. I will totally be reading more of Hunter’s books.

adorable

Very pleased with this spicy sports romance. I’m a sucker for them, especially near the Olympics. Can’t wait for the next one to come out!

This was a good intro to the Carolina Comet series. We meet Wright and Harper in an interesting meeting, that leads to them later meeting again through a dating app. My favorite quirk in this story is Harper’s job and her love for horror. It made me laugh every time. I liked Wright a lot, but I felt like he had some anger issues that he needed to work out.

Loved!! I’m so happy I found another hockey series to binge.

When Collin’s car breaks down, and he almost gets run over by Harper, she offers to give him a ride a back to town. They get along right away but don’t exchange numbers. A few weeks later fate brings them back together when they match on a dating app. However, Harper has no idea that these two people are not only the same but also that she is talking to a professional hockey player.

This was a quick, easy binge filled with amazing main and supporting chatacters. I absolutely loved the banter throughout the book, especially the dating app messages with the best flirting. Collin was an easy male main character to fall for as he wasn’t cocky or a player but rather caring and considerate. He may now top Garrett from The Deal. Also, I loved Harper’s big grand gesture at the end.

This was such a quick and fun hockey romance! I adored the main characters so much, and their love for spooky things was also wonderful. It was also so funny?? Like I was genuinely laughing out loud while reading it.

"Wow. So you're not just annoying, you're also dramatic."

"I thought I was only kind of annoying."

"You've leveled up. Congratulations."

Really, it was the perfect book to get me into such a reading zone, I absolutely devoured it, and then the second book in the series too.

The confession scene and the recording really just had me so incredibly emotional. I was such a mess while reading this book in so many different ways. I really cannot recommend it enough.
