I think my new goal in life is to read every hockey romance I can get my hands on.
I loved this so much. It was a very easy read and kept my attention. I enjoyed that the “drama” isn’t super heavy or anything. They resolved everything quickly which was cool.

This was an ok book. It is a book that reads well and is quick to read.
It was beautiful to see how they immediately connected since they met.
I really liked Harper's personality.
I didn't love Collin but I didn't hate him either.

I hope there is a book for Ryan because I liked her.
I liked that they talked about horror films and had some interactions related to horror films.
"What's your favorite scary movie?" - reference to Scream? I love.

I read this as the February book club read with my book club @indielovers_bookclub This was my first book from the author and won’t be my last.
I really enjoyed this book. It’s the first book in the Carolina Comets series the main characters are Collin and Harper. Collin is a NHL player for the Carolina Comets. They first meet by accident when Collins is having car trouble in the middle of nowhere. She knows nothing about sports and doesn’t know who he is. The second time they meet is through a dating app which again he keeps his identity a secret but like always secrets have a way of coming out.
I was hooked from the start. I also loved the unique occupation that Harper has. I have never read a book with that.

3.5 I love horror movies to stars. While this book wasn’t a standout I still loved the plot and it’s characters. It was also pretty funny at times. I didn’t like the third act break up but besides that everything else was enjoyable.
