Collin and Harper
Strangers to lovers, hidden identity, hockey.
It’s honestly quite boring. Boring enough to skim the majority of it.  And Harper’s reaction seemed over the top when he told her who he was. And then you get the miscommunication trope and that’s the worst. Does Harper ever find out what her accidental recording said? Feels like that would’ve been important to know.
I think there’s 3 sex scenes, they were good but not enough to redeem the book. 1.5🔥

Very cute. Respectfully though I could never relate to either of them because I don't do horror but I'm glad they bonded over it.
I aggressively LOVE it when the guy falls first or at the very least when he admits that his feeling to himself first. This is one of the many reasons I appreciate the double pov because we get the pining and the angst from both sides. Harper's daddy issues were so real because same. Collin refusing to talk about what was happening and what he was feeling made me laugh mostly because his feelings were so big. I also love the delusion of them ever being casual, like my guy was not casual from the start.
