This was a very fast paced book. This author is going to be at a singing event that I am going to and since I am in my hockey romance era I thought I would try her out.
This book is really funny, a little misunderstanding and lots of hockey superstitions to deal with.
Collin and Harper. They are into the same things except sports.
This is how they met, how they met again (long story) and how they are falling in love with each other.
They are the best characters together and I think that this book was so fast paced and the characters are so well written.
If you need a cute, hockey romance that is fast paced this book is for you.

This was so cute. I really liked how Collin and Harper first met and then how they met again but didn’t know it was each other. The romance was adorable and though there wasn’t that much hockey, I enjoyed what little bit of it there was
One of my favorite things ever in a romance book is when both MCs proclaim they're just gonna "keep it casual". Like okay you dorks, good luck with that. Haha. Harper and Collin had great chemistry - from their mini road trip to reconnecting via a dating app and then beyond. Their first official date was too cute and maybe one of my favorites I've ever read. But then my heart broke for Collin in the third act because what happened was kind of brutal. Ultimately though I think Harper did a stellar job making up for it. Overall a very solid first book in a series and I'm excited to jump into the next one.

If you want a quick read then this book is one for you.
I love my hockey romances, especially when it comes to the hockey player having a dream and fulfilling it. This was a cute, light, low angst, slow burn. It had me smiling and then snuck in some feels later in the story, but was just an overall easy read.
Collin is a professional hockey player who's having a rough time professionally. He's not a classic player that needs to be reeled in and he's a genuinely good guy. Harper is an artist specializing in horror and she's more of an introvert.
They meet when Harper almost runs him over at night on the side of the road. There's a missed connection and then another chance comes around. The story focuses on their relationship from their meet-cute to keeping things casual to developing deeper feelings.
There are some miscommunications and some angst at the end that I understood but didn’t necessarily love, but I did love the resolution to it as both funny and sweet. Nice chemistry (including through text messages) and some good spice. Some great side characters, who I hope have their own books, who added some extra humour and support for the main characters.
This book so cute though. The banter was amazing. The tension, longing, and angst? Absolute perfection. Someone find me a man who willingly takes baths with candles, volunteers at an animal shelter, and plays professional hockey like now.
