I always enjoy a Hannah Swensen book. Fall is such a busy time of year, so a good cozy mystery is just the ticket. This story involved soooo many recipes that I can’t wait to try!

All I can say is it’s better than the last one. I’ve read them all and keep reading them but it’s getting easier and easier to think about stopping. I’m not for recipes that require hard to find, unusual ingredients but these all seem like something out of the 60’s with all the cans of soups and cake mixes.

I don’t know why it took me so long to question this, but in what decade are they living? And also, why is Andrea so childish in her behavior? It really annoyed me this time.

Another enjoyable adventure with Hannah. I liked that the focus was not so much on Hannah, Mike, and Norman and their relationship. This one starts with a fishing contest that results in murder of one of the participants. There were a few red herrings in this one but I was able to figure out who the murderer was. I was right this time.

Wow great story

I loved this one but oh my goodness the cliffhanger ending was a shock. I hope the next book comes out soon I just need to know what happens next.

This one was a little too convenient. There were more character inconsistencies than usual, and the conclusion just fell in Hannah’s lap. It felt like the author didn’t really care about the mystery of this book. Like, sure, I’ll tell you every detail about my addiction the first time I meet you, but I’m gonna balk when you ask me if I love my husband. What?!? If the author just wants to write a cookbook…just write a cookbook, don’t mask it with the disguise of a half-assed poorly thought out mystery.
