I've read a lot of books about the Romanov family, but this one still had new information. I loved that the focus was primarily on the daughters.

The author presented non-fiction in a really interesting was, so I have to give her credit for that, hence a higher rating than the book deserved, in my opinion. I just couldn't get through it. I tried. I tried real hard, but the book seemed to drag for me. I was so interested, but the family just came across very one dimensional, dull, just flat.
