anne carson you will always be famous. such a refreshing and interesting exploration of the ways eroticism and alphabetization intersect. she has a way of presenting information with such a vulnerability, I was left feeling emotionally connected to the thoughts of socrates in a way I never had before. Will definitely continue to read Phaedrus to further understand the topics of this essay. a truly brilliant work that I can’t recommend enough.

To be running breathlessly, but not yet arrived, is itself delightful, a suspended moment of living hope.
