Francesca's story is probably my favorite of them all.

This 2nd epilogue was perfection. It really focused on Francesca and Michael, where as some of the other 2nd epilogues have been a disappointment. I loved that Franny was finally able to stop stressing over having a baby. It was the letting go of that stress and anxiety that finally allowed her to just enjoy her life and become pregnant. So happy that they got to have their baby, and then another a year later! This was the best ending for them. I feel thoroughly satisfied with how it all played out.

I am happy these second epilogues are included in the audiobooks I'm listening to. I had my two relatively easily, but we weren't able to have more. I wanted more, and that broke my heart some. I can't imagine feeling like I'd never have any children. I'm grateful that Frannie does have children by the end of this. I did wonder if she might adopt, but I also don't know if that was something that was done very often in the time period this series is in.

This is probably my favourite epilogue. Beautifully written and it almost made me cry. :')
