Okay, this one is a bit more of a filler and plot pusher. It didn't have as many astonishing moments in my opinion. But it's still damn good. I would normally give this one 4 stars but I physically can't. I'm not capable of giving any of these less than 5 stars.

Another great volume, although nor as strong as the other ones. The pieces of the puzzle are slowly connecting and questions are being answered. I'm still not the biggest fan of Temna, as I find him very flat and repetitive as a character. I really enjoyed the storyline with the storybooks and the red mansion. Johan single appearance was dark, threatening and scary. What I realized while reading this volume is that I don't like how Urasawa writes female characters. Firstly there aren't many and whenever there is one, she is almost always the girlfriend of a male character. Their only characteristic or personality is that they are the girlfriend or ex of someone. They don't exist on their own. They don't have their own arcs and storylines. They just appear for a brief moment, act erratically or crazy and then disappear again. The portrayal of women is very one sided and lacks depth.
