This book was crazy. I went into it thinking it would be more like a straight fantasy. Part of it I was convinced it was going to be a lesson on mental health. Part of it I thought it was horror. It was good, and smart, and I'm confused and unsettled and I rarely get that kind of reaction anymore. The final line gave me chills.
