Wow. This installment of the series was absolutely fantastic. So many emotions in just 1 book. Some serious things happen at the end of this book and I can not wait to see what happens in the next! Evangeline is a fantastic character and I can not wait to see more growth out of her. Highly recommend!!

Obsessed with this series!
This series has been so hot! I really love how Joanne has built these characters and their relationships. She has you rooting for some of the characters, feeling their feelings, and loving even the side characters. She does a great job with the plot! Can’t wait for the next one!

Second book in the if you dare series, starts off where first one ended. The guys want more of Evangeline, but she is still learning how to trust and to rely on other people. With a second job now, she has a lot going on and the forces that are testing her and her guys relationships? — makes my heart break for Atlas, Kane and her. then there’s Ricky that has been keeping a secret but won’t come clean on what it is yet. But at least now she has Ezekiel she can lean on too. Evangeline is putting her heart on the line, will she make it out in one piece?

addicting
This story is so addicting. Evangeline’s connection with so many of the Devils just makes this story flow. But of course she can’t stay happy. Her past trauma really shows in this book. When one thing goes wrong she reacts in anger and destroys the good in her life so she can’t hurt. And her friend Grace really sets it off in this book. But as Evangeline lets her trust issues take over she also has her heart broken as Atlas can’t be saved and is forced to leave. This book end sadly, where so much has blown up and she’s doing the one thing she’s good at. Running. Can’t wait to see what’s going to happen to Atlas and Kane and how Ricky is going to fix things with Evangeline. Plus they now have Grace and also Stephan drama.

OMG. This book is so good but it totally destroyed me! I mean that ending – what a cliff-hanger and I really really need to know what happens next! I love Evangeline and her strength throughout this as well as the various different dynamics with the men in her life. I loved Mama Millie and I hope we have more of her in the future books (I kinda want to be her when I am older if I am honest!). I can’t wait to see what is next in store for the Devils but I know it will be worth the wait!

For some reason, I was so sure this series was originally intended as a duet, but maybe I'm just crazy and made it up in my head.. but honestly? I kind of wished it was a duet and not a five part series...
Because this book fell short compared to the first book.. the first one was just so good, but this one, I just felt it was ether unnecessary drama that was being pulled out to far, like the Atlas drama, the whole thing with Ricky honestly just seemed unnecessary, but this is what happened when you decide that you need to make a million books instead of just focusing in on the really great original story that was started..
This is another "The magic of discovery" thing again.. where I'll continue reading on hopes that a) it ether gets better or b) just to see how this ends.. but I seriously don't understand how the author expects to make 3 more books out of this story.. I have a feeling there is going to be a lot of unnecessary fillers and drama from now on.
