beyond excellent, i was hooked for every page! the premise that so many villains and bat family were involved seemed to be overwhelming at first but it was done so flawlessly.

A great Batman story. I thought the art and exploration of Batman’s relationships were really great here. The overall mystery of Hush underwhelmed me, but was still enjoyable.

The art is stunning, but the storyline is paper thin. With Batman facing down his main rogue’s gallery one-by-one (like he did in Long Halloween or Knightfall).

And then the “plot” all ties together as the villain explains what has happened in the last issue. Except it’s baffling, incoherent, inconsistency filled nonsense.

And it’s the terrible destination that I’m left with, not the journey.

Not sure why this is considered a classic Batman story - plodding plot with a roster of well known villains paraded on and off stage. A bit of a drag to read.

Okay, it wasn't as bad as my first read. However, I still couldn't connect to the story and the end reveal was kind of a let down and doesn't make any sense. The reason for the villain doing what he did was ridiculous, I mean, why just now? The motivation of what the villain did to create all of this chaos just didn't add up for me. There wasn't any clue to point you to this person either, I just sort of guessed because of the flashback scenes but as for the clues... nada.

One thing that annoyed me was the relationship with Catwoman. It's not that I didn't like it, I just hoped that since they already built it up, they should have ended with that not create another conflict towards the end. After everything that happened, one word sets him off. Damn.

I love Jim Lee's art hence why I still gave it 3 stars because they are some gorgeous artwork.
