New favourite book <3
The vibes were so warm it felt like a hug. The characters were incredibly well written and so much funnier than I expected, I don’t remember the last time I read a book and loved every single character!

The different dynamics between the characters really stood out and the growth they went through only made them more interesting. Towards the end I was  getting some lotr vibes, so I’m looking forward to seeing if there’s more of that.

I’m so excited to read the rest of the series!

This introductory book to Rangers Apprentice is a great read. Will is a well written young teen character who is not presented as perfect and his mentor, Halt is well rounded. They are truly enjoyable to read. I look forward to their evolution as characters over the course of the series. It was also nice to see Horace, a bully end up becoming a much more improved character in just this first book.
