Wow! I want to read this one again! I listened to the audio, so now I think I need to mark up a paper copy!
This book has some stories and information that I've heard in other books but a good reminder !
I had no expectations for this book whatsoever but was pleasantly surprised.

Absolutely incredible! It changed my perspective on how I view many things in my life

This is such a sweet book! The Happiness Equation focuses not only on being happier, but also creating purpose in your life and using your time effectively. While there was a little bit of obvious advice (ex. "Be you") it was backed up with lots of fun anecdotes about why each secret worked and how successful people integrated it into their lives. Plus, I try to keep in mind that some things that would be obvious to me might be the one thing someone else is struggling with, and vice versa.
I love how it contains real, tangible things to do to help with each secret, and the scribbles made for easy, quick understanding. I also love how it focuses on being successful as well as happy, and the strong relationship between the two. It's clear that successful here doesn't mean now you have to go be a CEO, but having a purpose and something to work towards is hugely important in self satisfaction.
Overall this was an easy, interesting read with some handy insights I will surely use in the future.

Mighty fine book. There's one idea I took from it that I use in my regular day to day life now.
Whhat made me put down the book was calling someone "huge" as something negative. It's 2023, I don't need stupid beauty standars like this shoved into every corner.
Finished this one only for book club. Don’t get me wrong, I love self help/improvement books but this missed the mark for me. The advice was simplistic and nothing I hadn’t heard before. It relied heavily on quotes and anecdotes that weren’t relatable. I appreciate Neil’s positive outlook, zest for life, and his many projects. I know that somebody else could read this book and glean some wisdom.
LOVED this book. Written simply, but make no mistake, these are big points. I truly love the Authors writing. He gets to the point faster and so succinctly.
