This was a fun read, less insightful than others, some of the information I'd heard before but I still took a lot from this book. Light and fun and easy to digest.

A good listen. I heard Neil on the Holderness podcast. I liked what he was saying, so I downloaded the audiobook from my library.
Neil Pasricha is the man behind 3 Books which is my favorite podcast. Because I have become endeared to him via the podcast, I wanted to check out his own writing.
This book shares nine secrets to happiness. They are not always ideas I would have chosen but listening to his stories and points, make it clear why he did. It was also an inspiration on how to live more mindfully.
I enjoyed it and will likely listen again at some point.

This was a quick book to skim. The advice is solid, backed by research and condensed into pithy easy to read chapters. All in all it's a decent read.

I read this book over 3 years ago after checking it out from the library and think about it quite often. The author doesn’t necessarily tell you a ton of things that are new to you, but the way he tells you about the things you know or think you know gets you thinking again and realizing what traps of thinking you are falling into. I had to buy a copy of this book to keep on my shelf and I don’t really keep many books on my shelves these days (since the creation of the ereader). This is why I’m changing my rating from 4 to 5 stars.
This is one of the more unique books I've read on the subject of happiness. It encouraged me to seek out my "ikigai", consider what can be removed from my life, and gave me tips on how to create space and enjoyment.
If you want to know the answer to the question the book title poses, read up to the first list of 7 items the author discusses. Everything after that is like a psychological "pump you up" journey. Honestly, I felt like I was being prepared to join a cult with a large portion of the items discussed in this book. Without a doubt, there are good points made in this book, but I think this book could be half its length. One good thing I will say is that this is a relatively easy read and it was easy to follow along.

Pasricha's unique style of writing is super accessible and keeps the reader reading for hours. I read 55% of the book in an hour and havent put it down since. Highly recommend.
