Apart from her being a psycho for mixing two different types of coke and his pov being always too short (and some minor details i didn’t like, like some opinions i didn’t share) this was a fun addictive read that i really enjoyed. An utterly cute friends to lovers!

"Betting on You" is a YA romantic comedy.

The story is cute and, yes, predictable, but the banter was fun and the main characters were adorable. The family drama was actually pretty solid, and, halfway through, it became the most interesting part of the story.

The romance, in addition, was a slow burn, allowing the characters to bond, and the two of them had some cute moments.

But, overall, the start and finish were enjoyable, but the middle part was a bit boring.

DNF. I couldn’t get into the story that much and I feel that YA romance just isn’t for me. It was a little too “unrealistic” and kind of boring. I was surprised I still had 300 pages left of the book, I feel like I would’ve been reading it forever. Maybe I’ll try again some day
