This book is for all the gay people who have PTSD from working retail jobs and who are also fascinated by the idea of the multiverse and all the weird, wonderful stuff out there in the world! Would highly recommend the audiobook.

I just wasn't interested in the characters or the story. The first paragraph was a choice and I didn't connect but I figure I'd try it anyways but I don't want to waste my time on something that doesn't grab me and inspire me.

Fabulously fun and weird!! A biting critique on capitalism and the way the every man has no value to the corporations they keep afloat, but also just an insanely fun and delightfully unique sci-fi romp. What if your local Ikea had a portal to other worlds... and if your boss sent you into it to collect a customer who fell into its depths. Monsters and exciting new worlds and grandma-pirates, my only complaint is that this fast paced novella wasn't a full length novel; every time the story moved on to the next thing I found myself wishing we could spend longer in the place before. I haven't read many novellas, but this was a spectacular first jump.
