Wow. Just wow. I finished this book in a day and though I was happy for it to end, I craved more of it

I really enjoyed this thriller. It was fast. I didn't like the main character but I don't think you're supposed to.

Absolutely fucking terrible. The last CoHo book I read I vowed to never read another CoHo book. I shouldn’t have broken my vow. Terrible writing. Terrible characters. Terrible execution of an intriguing storyline. I don’t think I’ve disliked an author more.

**Spoilers below:
Lowen was highly unlikable. I also hated her name. Jeremy was boring and one dimensional and also creepy for. Verity was psycho. What kind of person is able to successfully pretend not to move for months and months? April never suspected anything? I thought it was going to be revealed that April was in on it and that’s why she hated Lowen.

Lowen seemed like an unreliable narrator which I hated. She seemed just as crazy as Verity (from her fake or not fake autobio?) just in a different way. They were both weirdly obsessed with vanilla boring ass Jeremy in a weird unhealthy manner.

It’s insane that in her letter at the end, Verity was like how could you believe the words I wrote!!!! Like people are secretly crazy all the time? It’s reasonable to believe the words you’ve written. At the same time, this whole thing was easy to prove if they just asked her editor, Amanda about this so called writing exercise?

i have read a lot of thrillers however this one was one of the most unbelievable out there stories so far. i also feel like this plot has some parallels to gone girl and guessed the plot before it even happened. so personally, i did not love the book.
