Single dad, nanny romance
I liked Dex and Lanie relationship and how they helped heal each other.
didn't love that I set up cameras to watch her all day =, would have been a different thing if he'd told her about them but he didn't.. bit creepy.
I thought that him going to her family behind her back to basically make her go out with him was a bit weird, especially bringing all his and her friends into it and then being pissed when her best friend didn't keep it a secret form her. if I caught all my friends constant talking about a group chat that was a bout me and that I wasn't in I would be a bit more pissed that she was.
the miracle babys was a nice touch but I think I would have preferred it if we saw Lanie come to terms with her trauma instead of giving her a more conventional happy ending. I think it would have been nice to represent other people who also can't have children, for whatever reason, and how that they could have their own kind of happily ever after.

I love how this revealed some of the events from the first book in the series but I felt like the author could’ve skipped the parts where it connected with the first book as some of it, we’d already read. I didn’t mind seeing Loki’s POV, but with the book being about Trevor and Jules, it wasn’t all that necessary. I still loved it nonetheless, I just scammed over the parts I already read and had come to terms with

Really bad writing. It's got all the tropes or moments I love but done SO SO SO poorly. It's also very insta-lovey. Big no no
