This. Book. Was. Insane. Absolutely could not put it down and it made me want to throw up. Probably the best/most disturbing thriller I’ve read since the last time I picked up a Karen Slaughter book. I literally read this in 3 hours and I’m still thinking about it.

I have no words. This took me for a spin. I love going into books knowing NOTHING about what I’m getting myself into. But this… I was not prepared. The writing was exceptional. How someone creates these plots and characters and storyline is beyond me. There are two types of people in the world; those who write, & those who read. I am the latter. This was intense. And many moments where I had to put it down to catch my breath. I feel guilty for praising this book because of how dark and twisted it is but I can’t help it. I don’t want to say that I “enjoyed” it because that would make me just as equally dark and twisted. But I have come to the conclusion that I am drawn to the work of Colleen Hoover. And I won’t apologize for that :)
