I regret taking so long to read this book because I got sucked into the story!
Bridgerton-esque in a good way! This was the perfect lighthearted romance read I needed.
Kitty reminded me of my own self-less older sister who would put my family’s needs over her own. Her opportunistic, stubborn and witty character reminded me of myself. Although, I do identify with nerdy academic Cecily!
This was an enemies-to-lovers I was wholeheartedly rooted for and was so glad it paid off at the end!

an easy and light read! the beginning was a little slow at first but once james and kitty met, i devoured this book quickly. 10/10 recommend if you're looking to turn off your brain for a bit. i had the best 24 hours reading this ❤️

A wonderfully amusing and lighthearted book with an excellent plot, wonderful characters and a beautiful slow burn romance.
I absolutely loved Kitty and her no nonsense way of getting what she wants by any means.
And Lord Radcliffe is going to own a small piece of my heart - he’s a perfect (kind-of) villain, but they make the best romances!
