I am utterly speechless, this series beyond passed my expectations for a fantasy read. Alongside A Court of Thorns and Roses the Throne of Glass series is one of the best fantasies I’ve ever read.

In fact I’ve never had books impact me emotionally as much as these two series have. SJM truly is an artist when it comes to her writing. The books read cinematically, like you’re watching a movie in real time pan to varying scenes within the different plots of all the characters, and on top of that having a killer script (I cannot begin to describe how many inspiring quotes I pulled from this book). The battle scenes in this book were incredible and made you feel like you were fighting side by side with the characters. Kingdom of Ash really tied all of the characters’ plots together in the most beautiful of ways; and yes there’s no shortage of emotional damage along the way but the entirety of the book provides such an epic message of hope, genuine friendships, love, and fight for a better world. Truly an epic and beautiful conclusion to the world of Throne of Glass I cannot recommend this series enough.

This book had me mad, happy, crying, emotional, and all over the board. Great conclusion to the series.
I thought they would use different aspects from other books but they had a couple twists I didn't see coming which was nice.

I’m so not well. I haven’t stopped crying. I love it. I want to start the series over. But man am I sitting in the living room with tears pouring down my face.

I LOVED Aelin in this book. Her character development was so so good.

I think SJM could have killed another character or two. Killing almost all of the Thirteen and practically no one else was so sad for Manon, but no one else had a moment like that. I don’t think Gavriel’s death was comparable.

Also where did the forgotten Fae come from?? Did I miss something?? I wish that would have been integrated more throughout the previous books. It felt very sudden to me.
