What a beautiful, emotional conclusion. This was the only book in the Throne of Glass series that made me cry — and I mean properly cry. I’m so happy with how it all ended, with hope and happiness prevailing despite everything the characters went through.

Of course I adore Aelin and the rest of the core cast, but Manon and the Thirteen absolutely owned my heart from the start. Their ending had me in tears for a solid hour — it was so powerful, raw, and unforgettable.

I also loved how so many of the characters found their match — all these hardened warriors realising they’re stronger with a good woman beside them just made my heart full. The bond between Gavriel and Aedion was another standout for me, though I wish they had more time together.

I would recommend this series with my whole heart. I only wish there were side novels so we could follow what each of them did next — I’m not ready to say goodbye to this world. 💛

To describe into words the impact that this series has had on me would not befit it. I don’t think I could ever find the words to express how these books made me feel, I would argue to the same degree that my very own favorite games have impacted my head and heart. Which is crazy, because I never thought something that isn’t Xenoblade could be just as captivating and devastating and beautiful all at once for me. I have been reading these books for over two years, and what a journey it has been to read them, and the journey of me when I started the books to me now. Such a bittersweet end to the series for me, as I don’t think I will encounter something like this again, that will impact me the same way. If there was an acknowledgements section to my review there would only be one person in there, and she knows who she is👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩  without you there would not be a lot of things but me reading this series is one of them. 💌

I’m SO sad to be finished this series, but wow, what an amazing journey. I was a little iffy after the first book, but then each book got better and better as you learned more about the world and the characters. I loved the action, suspense, friendship, romance, and emotion that weaved through all the books, and I was truly captivated the entire time. Loved the strong female characters, how all the loose ends tied up, and the epic ride that SJM takes you on.

Oddly enough this book didn't destroy me as much as i thought it would. I loved it and was not disappointed. I am so sad that TOG is over now. I'm getting a little scared that The Farseer Trilogy might have met its rival for my favorite book series on this earth. Robin Hobb vs. Sarah J Maas death battle has began.

I can't express how much I loved this book. I can't put it into words but I will try in simple words. One of the most heart-wrenching, gripping, excellent books I have read. I know it will stick with me for a long time or maybe to whatever end(my new favorite quote).
