I really enjoyed how these were stand alone stories that simultaneously existed in the universes of one another. There were crossover characters among some of the stories but each one was its own thing at the same time. They really were variations on the body in more ways than one. I didn't love "Fauna of the Ages," but everything else was fantastic in my opinion.
