I really liked the snippets of backstory we got in this volume. And the development of the situation the resistance is in. As always I'm loving getting more Poe :)
Honestly wish that we could get more of Poe and his adventures in the movies. He’s such a dynamic character and it’s a pleasure to read about him.
For a series with this much action in it, I don't think I should be feeling so bored.
At first, when I opened up this graphic novel, I was really disappointed. I missed Phil Noto's artwork.
I think his work is so painterly and the colours are so so incredible and he has a touch all his own.
But I love Unzueta's artwork too -- the lighting is great and the texture they're able to bring to the finished panels really adds a lot.
I really enjoyed the story for this comic book and very much enjoyed the new character who was introduced. I won't say much, because I don't want to spoil anything, but I love the type of character she is.

so I keep rating these comics 5 stars (on gr), because they're fun and I love Poe and Black Squadron. might be a little biased though because I love them so much.
This might be my favorite one so far. I really love Poe's arc of figuring out for himself that to the Resistance he is more than just an amazing pilot. He's a good, inspiring leader who people will follow. I also really like the conclusion of the Oddy Muva arc, although I would have liked a little bit different ending. The relationships between the members of Black Squadron are explored and developed, and I really missed L'ulo. I loved the addition of the new character; she isn't as idealistic as Black Squadron and she has a different perspective on war, which added an interesting dynamic to the group.
My one issue is that I just do not like the art for the characters. They simultaneously look extremely realistic and not at all realistic and it's weirdly unsettling, and often times just does not look good. I would probably give it five stars if it weren't for the art. But I like Phil Noto's covers!
