Started because i want to know more about the riordan universe. I am loving it! Jason, piper, and Leo are amazing and i can’t wait to hear more of their story. Leo is hands down one of my favorite characters! Jason was my second favorite because who doesn’t love some mystery. At the same time i have no idea where Piper lands. In a way it was her story because she had to go and find her dad and was a big part in stopping grae or however you spell mother earths name. I am still on the fence about Hera, what is her deal?! I cannot wait to see how Percy is doing! I hope he hasn’t changed too much.

This book is the perfect book to start a series. All 3 of the main characters (mostly) were compelling, unique, and undeniably loveable. Rick can do no wrong. With this first book, he expanded on a world that was already so innately vibrant it bordered the seams of reality in my mind. We all knew there was going to be a new big bad for this series, safe to say, didn’t see that coming. The ending of this book truly had me squealing and pacing at the same time and I cannot wait to meet the rest of the prophecy kids. My only complaint, the pacing was a bit off and some of the side plots weren’t that immersive, making me desperate for my favorite parts. Nonetheless, I am PSYCHED for this series.
