So good. Such a fast paced, cleanly written novel with twists and turns that keeps you guessing but most importantly makes you think. it forces you to question things you thought you knew about yourself. Excellent. Read it.

Highly suggest this read. This slow burn forces you to think about responsibility, love, and choice. Truly enjoyed this thoughtful book.

A slow, contemplative book. It’s truly a gorgeous story about guilt and trying to understand oneself.  The story starts with a baseline of horror knowing that a character was a part of the Nazi infrastructure, but challenges the reader to relate to a boy who falls in love with her without understanding who she is until much later, and the torturous mixture of shame and guilt and love and nostalgia that seeps into his every thought therein.
