Scattered but well written of course. Is it a love story, the story of a man's fate, the humanity and potential for good and evil in all of us and the vast grey areas in between? Sure. Okay. The storylines grabbed my attention several times throughout, but couldn't really maintain it.

Tercera vez que leo esta novela corta de Selma Lagerlöf, esta vez en formato de libro electrónico. Resulta una novela muy fácil de leer. La historia informa de un acto de amor y redención que surge donde solo parece haber vileza y maldad. Basada en relatos del folclore sueco, trae al lector la realidad de Suecia a principios del siglo XX cuando este país era asolado por enfermedades como la tuberculosis. Recomendable para quien desea comenzar a leer por primera vez.
