I wanted to like this book better. This was a time travel book. I love time travel books. Luce traveled back to see her past selves. She has help from a gargoyle which was cheesy and no surprise that he turned out to be evil. Daniel is just a step behind most of the book. I still don't like him or know his character any better than the past two books. Still lots of questions and no answers.

Hmm, it was definitely better than the second book, but I still find the whole "burning of a person's soul" thing really stupid. I don't have much else to say really. Let all the souls burn.
slow-paced
Plot or Character Driven: Character
Strong character development: No
Loveable characters: Yes
Diverse cast of characters: Yes
Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

This is my least favorite book of the entire series. I just feel like the whole traveling back to past lives bit was pointless and they could have all been summarized in to a short novella. The ending was interesting though and sets up the next book nicely.

A LOT happens in this book, haha. I loved it very much BUT it could get a little confusing with all the different time era's and people. FIRST off finally knowing now who the gargoyle is, makes this book even crazier but he is a good character in this book. I enjoy learning about Luce's past and her falling in love over and over again. I think it's funny how Luce could be a mean brat, or a war nurse, or a girl living in a hut and still they were able to find each other. It's a good read but I feel like this book in itself is it's own series. Luce will irritate you but you will still love her regardless.

¡Uno de los mejores libros de la saga! Veremos si el cuarto logra superarlo.

IT WAS AWESOME!
adventurous challenging mysterious fast-paced

Okay, that's weird. Everyone says this book is the worst in the series, but I really enjoyed it. Of course, there were weird moments. Like the one where the summary says how everyone is looking for Luce while we only see Daniel doing it devotedly and few other characters are just mentioned. I would have loved seeing them jumping through Luce's past lives. Shelby has an eye for detail, imagine how cool it could have been to see things from her perspective.
However, the book could have been a little shorter. Some of Luce's past reincarnations were useless for the storyline, but in general I don't agree with other reviews that say the story was slow. It was definitely much better than Torment...
Bill was obviously the bad guy, even before he showed his true face. This was a weak point for me. Like, I felt him being sinister from the moment he showed up. As well as the weird angel who guided Daniel to the day of the Fall. It just didn't feel right some mysterious figure to show up and be like "Let me help you, mate".
Also, I enjoyed the glimpse into Cam's story and would have been great seeing the others making their choices. Is it just me on this point? Okay. So, 4 stars and off to "Rapture"
Edit: I still have no idea how Announcers work. Every time one shows it just adds a new piece to the puzzle. It's infuriating!

O mais chato de todos, Luce sai pulando de memórias em memórias, um saco, ela fica procurando por pistas e claro, com certeza que a gárgula que a ajudava, era o terrivel demônio

passion by lauren kate is complicated. the book is not horrible but it's not great.
