Was nothing like the previous books to me...not as mug action nor as flowing. Harder for me to enjoy. More of a ladder book to the next which should promise more action

Without the energy and personality brought to the tale by the supporting cast this alls vey flat. Luce and Daniel are just not charismatic enough to carry an entire 400 page book. Very disappointing
This was an interesting trip through history, but it fell short for me. The ending redeemed the story.
okay, this book was way better than the second book. I liked that Luce learned from her past lives even thought it took her going back in time to see it.
