I really enjoyed this book. Despite his position as the owner of a male brothel, Kaz is innocent -- and that innocence and vulnerability make him deliciously appealing. They also make him irresistible to Jathan, whose high-stress responsibilities leave him in need of nightly escape in strong, understanding arms. The characters are well developed, the sex is scorching, and the story moves along at a fast clip, making this a quick, fun read. Another example of great M/M from Carina Press.

2 stars! It was well written just not for me. I experienced this book in audio form through Audible Escape so it was worth the no credit.

This was an enjoyable, fun and quick read. Although I have to express disappointment in the fact that the turmoil was so superficial.... I was hoping for more of an epic build-up. Nevertheless, it was a quick and pleasant read that I was actually somewhat surprised by in an overall "huh, I actually like this book" sort of way. I will say that I didn't expect it to be lighthearted when involving anything related to escorts, but the general lightheartedness was a very pleasant surprise even if it was in some little ways disappointing.

I usually don't give books 2 stars. This one started as a 3 star read for me but deteriorated by the end of it. The last 20% I kept getting annoyed at everything (deus ex machina tricks and immature characters) and can't say I understand why this book has a good rating.

Fun book! :) It'd've worked better if it was longer; I wasn't too happy with the epilogue. But overall, fun and I enjoyed reading it.

Read for the Q4 quarterly gang bang challenge.

Short but lovely! I always like reading about alternate universes and I like how this dived into coexisting with this whole other alien race. I also like how Kaz becomes the lobbyist for gay rights and how Jay fought for them. Enjoyed it! :)

So, um..... Not the most fantastic book. I can see faults in it left, right and middle. No-brainer with way too much sex. Jay especially was a disappointment. The best negotiator the human race ever produced couldn't perform a simple background check or conduct an adequate research.

But it's a light and amusing read that worked for me at this particular time (if anything) and I am giving it 3.5 stars, rounding up to 4.

Off to buy fix #2.
