Damn, this is fucking cute and spicy! This is my first AJ Truman book, and it won't be my last. I love Cal! I saw so much of myself in him, especially his sense of humor. With most enemies to lovers books, I have a difficult time believing that they have chemistry, but I Cal and Rus just clicked with me. I feel like they made each other better, which just made their chemistry more believable. The mix of cuteness and spiciness was so perfect. A lot of MM romance books that try to mix the two don't always hit the mark with me because there is too much sex and not enough plot or it's too cute to the point it's no longer believable. The Falcon and the Foe was the perfect blend for me. I highly recommend this book. It's super fun, cute, and fucking hot!

Cute and sweet. Not sure if it was the characters vibe or the audiobook narrator, but it felt like Cal was significantly younger, and that felt a little strange. Also felt like the book was about to end every chapter for the last 5 chapters. Like it could have ended there, with an epilogue, but it wouldn't have changed the narrative.

‘The Falcon and the Foe’ is the first entry in A.J. Truman’s ‘Single Dads Club’ series. I have been waiting to read these for quite some time now, and I had a great time! It is endearing and funny, while also containing the perfect spice to plot ratio. There is representation of many forms, which is always great to see. As a former Cub and Boy Scout, I appreciate the inclusion there as well. I enjoyed all of the characters and their dynamics. I am excited to read more of A.J. Truman’s works!
