Sometimes I just need something low-angst and spicy, and Falcon fit the bill. I'm glad I picked the audiobook for this one. I enjoyed Russo's performance and found that these not-so-single dads made for good hiking buddies.

Then this book might be for you! It was another book I found through bookstagram and I absolutely loved it lol

Sometimes I don’t want to write long reviews for books I read. All I want to say is read this book. I love watching MC’s fall in love with one another while getting to see who they really are deep down inside instead of what they want people to see.

Falcon & The Foe surprised me in all the best ways. I picked it up for the tropes—grumpy/sunshine, enemies to lovers, and my personal weakness: single dads—and ended up totally charmed. I was grinning, kicking my feet, and swooning over these two precious men by the end.

What really stood out was how real Cal and Russ felt. Russ’s initial dislike of Cal wasn’t just about personality—it was rooted in misunderstanding and the way their lives looked so different on the surface. Watching that evolve into something tender and full of respect (and tension 👀) gave the romance so much heart.

And please—the camping trip?! I was cackling. The chaos, the timing, the kids... peak rom-com energy. But there were also quieter, more emotional threads—like Russ navigating grief and trying to protect his kid from entitled parents. The balance of humor and heart was so well done.

This one felt flirty and fun with just the right splash of real-life emotion. If you're into messy feelings, reluctant pining, and unexpected softness tucked between sarcastic banter—this one’s worth the read. I’ll definitely be continuing the series!

This book is so much fun! These two really thought they hated each other. I loved the way that even before they were friends they began to trust each other and be vulnerable. They really are perfect together.
