This is the 2nd and final volume for this manga which was adapted from the light novel of the same name. This continues the story of the ongoing war between the human race and the alien creatures called the Mimics. It also explores the time loop anomaly that the main character is trying to weaponize against the enemy.
This was very very surprising. I was expecting for it to be something mediocre since it's a manga with only two volumes. I thought I wouldn't be able to care since I wasn't going to spend a lot of time with the characters and the world. But on the contrary, the mangaka made this story with lots of impactful points that even though it was a short manga with 2 volumes composed of 16 chapters, it definitely delivered the type of storytelling that larger mangas are striving for.
This was very dynamic. It didn't just stay on the hyped battles but it also provided the reader with lots of context to the effects of war that made the scenes subtle & emotional yet engrossing. It was emotionally complex and this manga perfected how Time Paradoxes can be a double-edged sword.
This finale was very intense and it didn't waste the reader's attention. With great artwork and a powerful story, I can finally understand why All You Need is Kill is always on people's recommendation lists. I've seen the movie adaptation The Edge of Tomorrow, starring Tom Cruise & Emily Blunt and I can honestly say that I enjoyed the movie but it lacked the kind of emotions that this manga perfectly conveyed.
Overall, this was a great experience and I highly recommend it to everyone.

Suosittelen.

I have always loved sci-fi that manages to highlight the best qualities of the human being amidst all of the out-of-this-world elements of the sci-fi narrative. Combine that with beautiful and dynamic manga artwork, "All You Need is Kill" is a gem worth experiencing over and over. This is a solid 5 out of 5 for me.
