I really like this book and the characters. The Pages To Fill about how Viv came to love coffee was wonderful. Definitely will recommend this to my friends and family. Can’t wait for the next book to come out.

i wasn't expecting to love this as much as i did! i'm usually a fan of deeper, more emotional books, but this was such a fun read. i've only known thimble for 2 days but if anything happened to him i would kill everyone in this room and then myself. all the characters were great and the descriptions of everything in the coffee shop were really nice. i will say, though, that i'm glad the romance was pretty understated and not essential to the main plot because you could definitely tell it was written by a man lol.

This book reads less like a novel and more like a step-by-step guide on how to create a fantasy coffee shop. Now, I love fantasy logistics, but there are much better books in this category. The Stronghold Builder's Guidebook (D&D 3.5) is probably my favorite, and the kingdom building rules in Kingmaker (Pathfinder 1E) are another good source.
