Be ready to experience the whole gamut of human emotion.

Tori and Spence were meant to be. I knew this from the first book. Love Belvin always takes the reader on an interesting ride. I believe Love wants the journey to love to be a unique experience for each couple that is rooted in reality with romanticism and some idealism. Our Reckless Hope delivered. I highly recommend this book and the series as a whole.

Well. This one was a journey through all of the emotions. And I enjoyed how the story eventually wrapped up and the growth of the characters.

Love Belvin once again blessed us with her amazing writing and storytelling! She is the queen of character and storyline development. I love how Love Belvin tells Tori and Ashton’s story in the past and present. She makes the past and present flow so effortlessly. Like many of her stories, Tori and Ashton’s begin in a very unconventional way. They both attend a HBCU. Tori is an aspiring boxer and Ashton is a pro bound quarterback. They definitely had a rough start but eventually they realize that there is so much more than what meets the eye. Their romance is a bit of a slow burn but I love the development of the love between them. I love that Love Belvin does rush the relationships in her stories. Tori and Ashton are from different worlds but their chemistry was

Happy Human ❤️

I loved this series. I almost can’t even put into words how I felt when everything came full circle. Nabby-Girl and Ashton went THROUGH it. It’s wild to think that when they met in college, they really hadn’t known each other THAT long but their love was so intense (even though it was muted back then). There were some hard moments in this book but there were also a lot of good ones. Ashton grew on me and I was rolling my eyes about it

I went into Our Reckless Hope upset, angry, pissed the eff off. At Ashton mostly, but at the situation, these two were in, in general. But mostly upset at Ashton.

Going into Our Reckless Hope after witnessing the pain Tori endured because of or their recklessness in the previous book along with Ashton's emotional and pain-filled rejection, I wanted him to have to grovel, and plead, and BEG to be back in the good graces of the one and only Tori McNabb.

But then I folded. Because after getting a glimpse into what Ashton went through after "the incident" in Our Muted Recklessness, I realized that they both left that situation broken and I just wanted them to be HAPPY.

They had so much baggage. So many secrets. So much painful history both together and as individuals. They would take one step forward towards reconciliation, love, and understanding, just to be knocked ten steps back. And I just - wanted - them - to - be - happy.

Just like the title of this book, I was hoping, recklessly hoping, that they could get through all of their issues and find their way back to one another as whole and healthy people. But to make it to that point I had to walk with them through the knives, fire, and ice standing in their way. And it was PAINFUL. Beautifully and addictively painful. I loved and hated every minute of it.

Love Belvin has done it again. Created characters with a story that will stick with me long after I hit publish on this review. I finished this a couple of hours ago and still find myself going back and reading the highlights of my favorite quotes and scenes.

A masterpiece. Muted Hopelessness is a masterpiece.

This was my intro into Love Belvin and I enjoyed this series, loved Tori and Ashton's story so much. A few characters drove me crazy but we pulled through.

My only reservation was that the last book was too long. Almost 600 pages so some parts were repetitive

Phenomenal! Page turner!

This is my first read from this author and I’m not sure what has taken me so long to read her work, but this was the best series I’ve ever read!! Wonderful character development I was captivated, intrigued and completed drawn in. I couldn’t put to down and am SO sad it’s complete. I will be re-reading this one and soon! Never a dull moment!
