I feel very similarly about this book as I did twisted love. Probably because the characters are literally the exact same people

-This is so far my favorite book in the series I haven’t read twisted hate or twisted lies but I'm so excited to i loved Rhys soooo much he’s my favorite in the whole book just the description of his appearance and his name is sooooo sexy i loved this book so much it gave me major anxiety towards the end but that my anxiety vanished and i loved the book even more i loveddddd the ending lovedd lovedddd loveddd it i love how the author not only gave them time together in the beginning and middle of the book but she also gave them a long ending and even a bonus ending that you have to search the link thats written out at the ending of the book online you’ll know the link when you see it but she did amazing with the ending i hate when authors make the whole book a slow burn and then rush the ending this wasn't one of the books the i give this book and the series all five stars so far⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💖😁💖😁😁😁😁💖😁💖😁💖💖😁💖😁😁💖😁😁-

I wasn’t too big of a fan of the majority of the book, I felt like it was repetitive and dragged on but I like how the ending wrapped it up so that helped redeem the book a little for me. It very much was not my style and there were certain scenes and descriptions I could have done without personally. The characters weren’t very interesting to me and none of the characters besides the main two were fleshed out characters. The relationship between Rhys and Bridget seemed toxic because they relied on each other too much and </spoiler he drinks alcohol for the first time when they get separated from each other which is completely out of character, but at least it didn’t continue after that> There is also something mentioned in the book that was never brought up again, but I’m assuming that’s for the fourth book.

He is way too possesive and the relationship is super toxic. Hoped for something else.

what i liked: literally almost everything, the main characters are loveable and there is a definitive arc of growth for both of them. my heart sang when they had their aha moments of realizing how they wanted to define the relationship and my heart literally ached with them when they had to make difficult decisions about duty vs. heart. i felt everything and got swept up in the story telling.

what turned me off a bit: im just impatient and so sometimes i think think a slow burn is a little too slow. but again that’s because i just get so excited to get to the juicy part, which ultimately makes me appreciate the slow burn of it.

If you are looking for a book with plot and steam and enemies to lovers and a hot book boyfriend named Rhys then yes you are in the right place. This also includes royals, real juicy scenes that put you in a chokehold when reading and great power dynamics. Let’s just say I’m a bit obsessed!!

listen, if your “forbidden romance” isn’t due to the fact she’s royalty and he’s her bodyguard, you’re wrong - it’s the only accurate use of an overprotective macho male love interest

it’s about the pining, the yearning, and the going at it in highly inappropriate places

showstopping, a+, 10/10, no complaints

(one complaint and that’s the 800 different time skips good lord)

This is me being generous  in one of my last books of this year.

I adored Twisted Love so I flew right into  this book. Knowing it was going to be the least relatable. But yet I was I excited because  it's  a similar story to Young Royals except  adult level maturity and very straight   relationship.  I will say the age gap automatically  impacted this rating to.

Both Bridget and Rhys were often the exact type of people  you expected them to be. And it was very boring sometimes  throughout  the storyline. That said they both are very plain, messy characters  that deserved each other. For mor e than one reason I'm glad I finished this one and can move on to Twisted Hated and Lies.
