While the book was amazing and had plot twists, similar to the first book of the series, I feel like it was a little bit hard to get into considering the amount of erotica in the book. If that’s something you’re into, this is the book for you, but if not I would just be weary while reading. Overall I did enjoy reading the book!

I would say this one was better than the first. A bit more believable and the writing was better. I did have to skip a few scenes, but there was actually a plot in this one. I didn't appreciate how many sex scenes there were and felt that many of them were totally unnecessary, but otherwise a fairly decent read.

Det enda jag inte gilla va när hon ramla av hästen men det de ledde till va ju bra, älskar att de va forbidden romance och age gap

just finished to read it and i miss them already 😭.
Bridget and Rhys will always have a place in my bookish heart.
i love that they found a way out of the society- and parliament-imposed rules, and that after a long and troubled history (both individual and shared) they finally had their - may i add, much deserved - happy ending. ❤️‍🩹

*Read 'Twisted Games' for the first time in 2021 but my review reflects my re-read in 2023*

5 ⭐️ / 3🌶️

Ana Huang ABSOLUTELY SLAYED this book. My top read of 2021 without a doubt and one of my favourite reads EVER. And the crawling scene? ICONIC.

Rhys Larsen is THAT man and I what I love about him is that in the book he is the only one who doesn't fuck up, not once. He had very much touch her and die vibes which I am all for. And the way he goes to protect her makes my heart ache.

Bridget on the other hand is an absolute angel and I'm so happy she keeps Rhys on his toes. Just writing this review makes me want to do a re-read.

If you love Princess diaries 1 and 2 then this spicy version is a must read.

Tropes:
-Bodyguard/princess romance
-Tortured hero
-Forced proximity
-Touch her and die
-3🌶️

If you love these tropes then I cannot recommend this book enough. And I would say even if you didn't love Twisted Love you need to give this book a try! 100% recommend!
