A really good forbidden romance that deals with some dark matter. Found it a bit slow at parts but it was very interesting since it took place over many years and overlapped with the other books.

I am not a huge fan of possessive MMC romances (lots of spice but again, possessive), but was looking for a simple story to listen to and this fit that. I felt like the plot wasn’t very exciting and the “twists” I saw coming.

Oh em gee! Another Rhys I'm ABSOLUTELY OBSESSED with! This was definitely a making of a Twisted Fairytale and I am absolutely HERE FOR IT! Bridgett and Rhys's story is amazing and Bridgett is a phenomenal character! A princess just looking for her prince charming and finds so much more! How this could be (dare I say it) BETTER than the 1st?? Is unfathomable to me but here I am saying it; if I could shout it from the rooftops I would!! 1000/10 would recommend!!

Ok. Bodyguard trope is one of my fave!
The sneak peek we had of them in Twisted Hate was already showing how good it was
I loved Rhys. He’s so good with Bridget.
It was way better than the first book mostly because there was an emphasis on the characters and their development. Plus SIS!!! BRIDGET fighting for her man????
she be a baddie

Yawn.

I stg this book just about put me in a reading slump, not because it was good, but because i couldnt stand to read it anymore.

I predicted the plot “twist” about 40% through. The smut seemed forced and just thrown in there. The plot was run by tropes, and completely ignored the characters personalities and what would actually happen if Huang would have stuck to how she characterized them. The “dirty talk” was abusmal and disgusting. This was not slow burn or enemies to lovers. It was insta lust and they had sex at like 30%.
I wish her friends would have been more a part of this! Ava was super close with them in the first book, and now Bridget has barely mentioned any of them.

To be totally honest, i enjoyed the beginning. The very beginning. I like the body guard and his client trope but once she became more princess-y…. No.

Disapointed because i heard that this one was one of the better books from the twisted series. I did enjoy twisted love so i will continue the others in this series and hopefully enjoy them better.
