Ice Bet

Riley transfers to Bexley U where her father works as the hockey coach after suffering a public incident and breakup at her former college.  She goes to the hockey arena to talk to her father about him guiding her to choose the apartment that just so happens to be across the hall from some of his players.  After confronting him, before she can escape the locker room, some of the guys on the team start talking about her and making a bet about hooking up with her.

Aasher is attending Bexley U because he was stripped of his scholarship to the college of his choice during high school, for something he didn't even do.  He gets along with his team and has high hopes of going pro.  Now he's being called into the coaches office and asked to make sure his daughter is safe and none of the guys on the team make a pass at her.

Riley isn't sure who is involved in the ice bet and has her guard up with all the guys on the team, especially the ones that live across the hall from her.  Aasher wasn't involved in the bet, but knows about it and the repercussions the team will suffer if coach finds out.  He's trying to skate the fine line of protecting Riley from the rest of the guys, keep the bet a secret, and not fall for the coach's daughter.

Yes! Put together perfectely!

I was pulled right into this story and I read the entire book in one sitting. The story flowed well and I was able to stay connected and interested.

Riley was just too adorable, and Aasher.... such an amazing guy with a big heart, it sure wasn't difficult falling for him. The dialogue between the two was amazing, my heart was content.

This book lived up to all of my expectations. I had a great time getting to know the characters and I enjoyed seeing how everything would play out. I was expecting the book to be really good, hot, funny, and interesting. I got all of that. I freaking LOVED it!

I can't wait for more to come!
