Somehow Toni looked into my brain, she read my mind, gave words to my thoughts, accompanied it with pictures and published it in this perfect book.

I want to make reading this book a weekly ritual.

As someone who struggles with anxiety and has gone through the entire cycle multiple times, I can totally relate to her.

While reading this book, all I could think was this: let's be friends Tori.

Wow is all I can say. Loved it. The book is sheer perfection.

I received a digital copy from NetGalley.

As a fan of the author's Instagram, this book was familiar and warm. It validated all of the reasons I have found therapy beneficial.

A beautifully illustrated guide to self-acceptance and self-love by author and Instagram artist Tori Press. Although if you've read aroung the subject, there's not much new here on the topics of self-worth, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, external pressures from society, and body image, the illustrations make this an engaging and encouraging book.

This book is incredibly helpful for me when understanding my worth. It is not a “traditional” book, but is intended to exist for consistent use. I will be coming back to it many times. The drawings are so beautiful, but also cute. Tori Press did an outstanding job on creating this book. I feel very loved and seen for who I am.

✨ "Even if you're not exactly where you want to be, it’s okay to be wherever you are."

This might look like a collection of inspiring and positive affirmations, but is actually so much more! The book takes a look at the realities of living with mental illnesses such as depression and anxiety, while also reinforcing the fact that self-love and self-care are more journey than destination.

The content is also presented in a fun and engaging manner that's easy to understand, personal and without being overly-preachy or technical. The short messages and vibrant illustrations made this a quick but enjoyable and relatable read.
