There's a fine line between romance and obsession. Boy howdy, the abrasive controlling nature of Ronan between the gifts and the demands in the beginning would have sent me in the opposite direction so fast! Not my cuppa this time even though the snappy geeky funny writing keeps me hooked (no pun intended).

**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**
This was my first read by both authors. I wasn't disappointed. I loved the humor wrapped up in a romantic love story. I don't know much about Rugby players, but I would love to know more now.
Ronan is the Irish bad boy Rugby player. He's sexy, dominate, sweet and so loving at times.
Annie is living a double life, In real life she is meek and stand offish. But online as the Socialmedialite, the celebrity blogger, she is bold and brazen. She speaks her mind. When she sees Ronan and makes him her subject on her popular Saturday post. When Ronan finds out about it he contacts her by email telling her everything that is wrong with her post about him. Little do they know they are going to be thrown together in real life in the most unexpected way.
This was such an entertaining read. I will definitely be adding these to authors to my "watch for list"

Started out somewhat amusing, then turned into an endless parade of problematic behaviors (ranging from immature to abusive) that went basically unchallenged. It was offputting.
Toxic behaviors aside, neither the plot nor the characters were convincing. Nothing made sense.

Moderate: Emotional abuse, Misogyny, Sexual content, Toxic relationship, Sexual harassment, Classism
Minor: Ableism, Fatphobia, Infidelity, Violence, Death of parent, Abandonment

I went into this book with overflowing excitement because Penny Reid is listed as one of the authors... by the halfway mark I wasn't excited anymore.
I honestly found the characters to be rather dull and frustrating. I thought I would be able to connect to Annie, but for some reason couldn't, so that was a shame. Yet, at the same time the relationship between the character could (at times) be super sweet and fun. There were times I laughed -- mostly in the beginning, over the actions of the characters. For the most part, I found the characters to be relatively mature, which was refreshing, who didn't run away but talked to one another about problems... until running away became the conflict *rolls eyes*. Maybe I just have a thing against people running away "for good" only to regret it and... we all know how it goes.
I think I just couldn't understand the characters and their actions, so I didn't understand them. Others might fall into the story more and like it more.
There is also light bondage which, I don't mind since I tend to skim over sex scenes anyhow, but other readers might want to know about beforehand.
