Dark, disturbing, and incredibly hard to put down.
I first read this book back in high school. After years of searching, I finally found it again! So this was a re-read for me.. and it was just as good as the first time I read it. There were a lot of parts I forgot..
This book has everything: gore, humor, sex, murder, romance, and it's all wrapped in mythology! Beware of those around you.. not everyone is as they seem. Some have darker tendencies than others, but no one is safe. Are you ready for this thrill ride? Buckle up, because it's about to get bumpy. Good luck.

I’m not gonna go into why I like this book. I would not recommend it however. The scenes were a little bit much and made me feel like it was more fetish shit than horror. It was pretty fucked up. I liked the kill scenes and I liked the ending. The characters were good too. It was just a bit much and I think Bentley has some kind of mummy problems. Therapy.

I remember it being pretty racy when I was a teenager, but some aspects of this book haven't aged well and so it comes across as problematic occasionally. The story itself is solid but I could have done without some of the details.

DNF - this was just too much. Little seems more about the shock factor than actual story building. Also, every description of a female character in this book was based on their body parts. Gross.

Talk about sickening, perverted, morbid, disgusting.... all the adjectives needed for a good, gruesome horror story! I couldn’t put this book down. While it’s not deep or philosophical, it’s a great read if you’re looking for something dirty and scary. Loved it.
