i wanted to love this book because nero is my facorite character in the series, but his & camille’s relationship felt more ‘tell’ than ‘show.’
i liked them together though, and individually they were good characters. i wasn’t expecting the outrageous number of subplots, of which only two felt semi-completed. i don’t think the book needed that but whatever. not my decision lol
nero reminds me of the song trust fund baby by why don’t we LMAO

This book was very different than the others in this series. Think fast and furious... which I was into! What I wasn't into was the fact that the romance was put on the back burning and because of that I couldn't fully connect with Nero and Camille's love. I loved the plot and the whole heist was very fast past and thrilling but I think it could have complemented the romance better and have the two points build off each other. Overall, I found their relationship a little rushed. I also wish we saw more of them together in later other books.
