This is my first romance with illness rep, not certain how accurate, but holy crap does it pluck at the heart strings. I wasn't certain I was gonna continue this series, but I really wanted to know Rosie's (someone with a life changing illness and sass for days) story, and it was totally worth it.
update: only reason i’m giving this 3 stars is bc of rosie leblanc 3 years later and i still wholeheartedly believe she deserves the world thank u that is all
Loved this one !! I love Dean and Rosies story soooo much like omg !!! Like I said I read Broken Knight first which is ok ( again LJ Shen will rip your heart out and serve it back to you ) so I had some familiarity with the characters going in !
I adored their love story so damn much and was so excited to see how they came about !
Rosie has a lung disease and Dean dates her sister : Wild right : let the ride begin w the Hotholes of Todos Santos CA .
The back and forth love hate with these two drove me nuts in the best possible way .
LJShen delivers once again ! Crazy past stories come to life and the future leads to the best shit ! Definitely recommend this !

4,5 stars!
Thought for sure this would have a bad ending when I was at 97% done and the book was going how it was going, but I'm glad it didn't. Thoroughly enjoyed Rose and Dean's story!

"I'm going after Baby LeBlanc."
"I sure as fuck hope you mean Rosie and not my future kid."
"Christ." I rolled my eyes, leaning forward to snatch the blunt from Vicious. "And then people accuse me of being the creepy one."

I love any book that makes me bawl but ends with an HEA. Loved Dean’s redemption arc and fuck, he was a much much better lovable asshole than Vicious.
Another fantastic book. I adore this series. I like all the Alpha male personalities. Keep em coming.
THIS BOOK WAS EVERYTHING, IT WAS PEFECT, IT WAS EVERYTHING. IT WAS ONE OF THE GREATEST LOVE STORIES OF ALL TIME, ROSIE & DEAN HAVE MY ENTIRE HEART AND SOUL ♡♡♡
Rosie & Dean are soulmates; destined; fated; written in the stars kind of love. Their love defied all odds, against the world they proved their love for each time and time again. They were everything and more, so utterly perfect and beautiful. He was the sweetest, kindest soul and loved Baby LeBlanc with every single fibre of his being. She had CF, living on borrowed time already, yet he couldn't help it, he fell and he fell hard.
Dean did absolutely everything for Rosie, ensuring she was always okay (had all he treatments and meds). Sirius and Earth were beautiful and tell me something about Music or Space (I loved this simple, mundane aspect of their relationship, it was so sweet and beautiful).
Rosie LeBlanc was perfect, and I freakin adored her, she was my favourite Sinners of Saints girl by FAR. A fiesta, kind, gorgeous and quick witted survivor and fighter.
Dean Cole was also just as perfect, he was handsome and a gentleman who did everything right. Except for his addiction other than Rosie - alcohol.
This story reminded me so much of [b:The Score|32276196|The Score (Off-Campus, #3)|Elle Kennedy|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1475250155l/32276196._SY75_.jpg|45217167] by Elle Kennedy but an older version. The ending of this book had me, I was sobbing, The epilogue was gorgeous truly defying space and time.
DEAN CONFESSING HIS LOVE TO LOVE WAS EVERYTHING: "you think I f**king like you? Are you kidding me here? I don't like you. I love you. Even that's an under-fucking-statement. I live for you. I breathe for you. I will die for you. It. Has. Always. Been. You... We've been apart for ten years, Rose LeBlanc, and not even one day has passed without me thinking about you."
"You're crazy, Dean Cole"
"I am" "And yet, this crazy train is in motion. You can't stop it"
"I love you" "FOREVER STARTS NOW, BABY LEBLANC. WITH YOU"

I really liked this one, and loved the characters and their complexities. I was really skeptical at first, but thoroughly enjoyed this. I did experience a lot of moments of deja vu at the end, which was confusing..especially with the epilogue..I swear I’d already read it somewhere but I, not sure where.
